Have you heard of the sea? No, there’s no sea in Gensokyo, but here in Former Hell, there’s something similar… A sea of cash!

Shion Yorigami is the Most-Despicable and Disastrous Elder Twin Sister and a poverty god turned wealth god. “Tonight, I’m gonna get a taste of the high life!”

Joon Yorigami is the Most-Despicable and Disastrous Younger Twin Sister and a pestilence god turned oil baron. “I’m gonna rent out the entire hot spring resort!”

“Get out of here!” - The owner of the Former Hell hot spring resort.

The source of this glimmering sea is none other than a certain black liquid… That’s right, oil. When left untouched, oil can steadily evaporate, turning into a dangerous, highly flammable gas. However, if you know how to use it, it can bring you untold riches! It seems the shrine maiden, the magician, and even the karakasa-obake came to investigate the oil. The Yorigami sisters don’t need to be told how valuable it is, though… because they’ve been partying all over town with the profits they’ve made from it!

The outfits they’ve chosen are more than fitting for a pair of oil barons. They encountered the Clerical God of Hell’s Checkpoint but found a way to keep her mouth shut… literally! They had a run-in with the god of the mountain but blew past her criticisms… literally!

No one can stop the sisters now! Tonight’s going to be their night!

In Japanese, there’s a saying that roughly translates to: “After rain falls, the ground hardens.” So what does that mean for the Most-Despicable and Disastrous Twin Sisters? Former Hell is up in arms over the new-found oil. Meanwhile, the sisters are living it up, making it rain cash. So, in other words… “After cash falls, the ground hardens!”

“All hell’s breaking loose around here, but this sea of cash ain’t drying up anytime soon!” Shion’s eyes twinkled as she gazed at the mountain of jewels before her. Or was it the jewels that twinkled…? Maybe it was both!

Joon felt like she and her sister were untouchable, and she wasn’t afraid to let it show. “Anyone who gets in the way of our big night is going down! …But I really don’t wanna do any more training at Myouren Temple, so we have to steer clear of Miss Byakuren!”

Many people drown in the sea, but is it also possible to drown in this type of sea?! Great waves of wealth were crashing down upon Former Hell as the sea of cash swelled! Shion and Joon were in danger of going under or being swept away entirely! Wait, maybe that’s the point―maybe that’s what true happiness is!

There’s a Gensokyo out there with a real sea, and that sea is rising up to swallow the land. That sounds pretty rough, huh? A sea of cash rising up is a much more exciting prospect! You never know, maybe everyone in the Gensokyo with a sea is actually having a great time. Shion and Joon know nothing about all that, though, so let’s drop it for now and get right back to…

Money, money, money!

As a matter of fact, there happens to be another sea here in Former Hell. One you’d be better off not taking a dip in… It’s the sea of oil! Oil brings wealth, and this sea of oil has brought a sea of cash for Shion and Joon!

Do you know the differences between a real sea and a sea of cash? There are plenty to speak of, but the biggest has to be that a sea of cash can disappear right before your eyes. And that very thing might happen tonight for the sisters. Even as the oil wells threatened to dry up, their spending shows no sign of slowing.

But fear not! It may be somewhere completely different, but they’ll surely come across another sea of cash someday! After all, Shion’s a poverty god, and Joon’s a pestilence god. One sea may dry up, but another is bubbling to the surface right around the corner… All that’s left to do is spend, spend, spend till that one’s dried up too!

Actually… that sounds kind of exhausting, no? But if these two are happy, there’s nothing to complain about!
