The idea of everyone around Reimu repeatedly trying and failing to "kidnap" her, to the point that all parties involved are just kind of fine with it, sounds really incredible. (And also like something you see in superhero parodies. Or Mario.)

What happens when a strong woman kidnaps a strong woman? What happens when you rob Hakurei Reimu of her freedom? Who could do it if they tried? Is it even possible in the first place? That is the story I wanted to draw. Everyone here just really loves Hakurei Reimu. I have this idea in my head that "the shrine maiden belongs to the shrine, and thus the god", so I'm convinced that whatever happens to her, she'll always be returned to the shrine. Guess that means the only winner here is Komano Aunn.
