The brush tools in MS Paint have seen quite an overhaul since the Windows 10 version. While they are nothing compared to Photoshop / Clip Studio Paint / etc... obviously, they do create some decent brush strokes and even do some minor color blending.
You do need to select the right brush though (as highlighted in the post) because the default brush is the boring jaggy circle that we all know and love.
