Copyright allows everything, that's a misconception. It's just getting harder to sue people (it's not impossible, but international legal system is painful), plus the difference in language and norms make it harder to find "unauthorised" content. DMCA-like strikes? That's easy. Coming to the artist’s home, yes, that’s difficult.

it is just those trolls or people bullying artist who draw them, doesn't help some uses fake accounts too.
The Yakuza memes were funny up until the point where the majority of people think they were real.
Yakuza can't get anywhere near anyone related to Japanese horse racing with a 10-foot pole, because anyone who gets too chummy with Yakuza risk having their professional licenses and horse ownership revoked. The closest we get is Kitajima Saburou, who was basically Japanese Frank Sinatra and attended/sang at some Yakuza parties, and even he got inquisitioned for it, nearly getting kicked out of the horse owner club and losing Kitasan Black.
Basically, the mob having anything to do with current Japanese racing is a myth, because the races are ran by the Japanese government, and Uncle Sam Yamato Hime does not appreciate people getting between her and her money. It's like messing with taxes.

Ya when you think about, having legit Yakuza hunt down Artist over lewding horse girls most likely cause a Nationwide Scandal in Japan, and most likely cause the Authorities launch the investigation on Cygames or probably even the JRA and start cracking down the Yakuza group. If that scenario went down, it'll definitely gonna cause the reputation on Cygames, most likely shut down the UMA game entirely, and even mass resignations from Cygames and even JRA.

That's probably the closest thing to a kernel of truth in this meme, otherwise it's just a joke that was taken way too far, like Nintendo's ninja lawyers. The real reason Cygames has been kiboshing lewds is because a number of horse owners objected to their stock getting lewded, and since the company needs their perms to make content off their horses, Cygames has an incentive to keep the franchise as clean as possible so the owners don't get second thoughts.
Actually one of those 3D porn artist tried to make a Gold City 3D porn and got taken down immediately recently, the guy that usually make Genshin/ZZZ ones. The problem here is that Cygames can take your whole gallery down, specially if it's a japanese one website like pixiv. Many artist ARE WELL known users that wouldn't risk their whole account for a few Uma pics since they also sell physical copies later at comiket or any other convention.

One day he was posting about how horse racing was run by gangsters, next day he put out a long apology and got into arguments with commentors who suggested he got strong-armed into apologizing.

Are you sure that Nintendo's ninja lawyers are not real? They sued the dude that made ryujinx, since they can't sue him by law like they do all over the planet because Brazil has no law that nintendo can use, they went straight to the guys house to force a DMCA on him, the only matter is that guys house is on one of the most dangerous favelas in Brazil where even cops won't try to enter because they get rained with bullets, but nintendo sent their lawyers on the guys house door, so are you sure it's not real?
