今年は一年掛けなかったぞ‼連載させて頂いているフリーペーパーの昨年のクリスマスプレゼント企画で当選者さんの愛車イラストを描かせて頂きました。正直な所、僕が好きなのは古いアルファなので詳しくは知りませんでした。しかし、オーナーさんの自宅へ取材に伺い、資料撮影で沢山の写真を撮り、色々お話をお聞きする中で人となりを知ると『喜んで頂けるイラストに仕上げたい』と思うんでですよね。取材日はまだ上着が必要な季節でしたが晴天で、車体上面には空と雲が、側面には宝箱のように思い入れのあるガレージが映り込んでいます。それを描くのは手間が掛かるけれども描き込むほどにジュリアとの距離が近くなったような錯覚があります。とはいえ、この三分割グリルには参りました・・・。

I didn't hang up for a year this year! I drew an illustration of the winner's car for last year's Christmas giveaway project for a free paper that I write for. To be honest, I didn't know much about it because I like old Alfas. However, when I visited the owner's house to interview him, took a lot of photos for documentation, and learned about his personality through various interviews, I thought, "I want to make an illustration that will please him. On the day of the interview, it was still necessary to wear a jacket, but it was a sunny day. The sky and clouds were reflected on the top of the car, and on the side of the car, the garage was reflected like a treasure chest, which is a very special place. It took a lot of time and effort to paint this image, but the more I painted it, the closer I felt to Julia. However, I am still not satisfied with this three-part grille....
