This got me thinking, did rinnosuke stay in the human village back then? was he staying with youkais? or was he exiled from both races? also makes me wonder what kind of treatment half-breeds recived back then.
Rinnosuke lived in the human village. This much is known since he worked for Marisa's family in their store. He seems to still be on decent terms with Marisa's father since Rinnosuke did go down to the village and chat with Marisa's father for a bit.
However, he seems to be bad with dealing with people from the village except for when they are customers.
