Artist's commentary
What speaks through a passing train? Haste, perhaps, or life's fleeting nature. In poetry, trains have always whispered of partings.
Whistles approach as white birds take flight, their wings carrying them away with the departing cars.
"Journeys," he smiles gently, "are never farewells."
Every traveler seeks home eventually. We venture outward only to return with fuller hearts. Let us meet again soon—for while you remain, my heart's compass never wavers.
