You do know this is based off the Illya Route in fate/hollow ataraxia, right?
Sure, it's not a full route like the other fate heroines, but it's still a route nonetheless.

You do know this was originally suppose to be in Fate/Stay Night, right? (Well not THIS particular scene but something similar)
F/SN was originally suppose to have 4 main routes, with Illya's route branching off during the time Shirou gets kidnapped by her on Saber's. Which is what my comment was about.
Nasu had a bit of an habit with unfortunately dropping the route of a heroine. Happened in Tsukihime as well. That game was suppose to have Arc, Ciel, Akiha, Hisui/Kohaku and finally Satsuki route. But Satsuki's was dropped.

Authors reuse scraped ideas for new works all the time, happens with movies too, and given the true nature of hollow ataraxia, Nasu was pretty much allowed to do whatever he wanted that time with less restrictions.
I was just clarifying that we did got an Illya route to some extent, it doesn't have to be in the original fsn, heck, you can even call fate/kaleid liner the Illya path.

Original Illya and Illya path aren't mutually exclusive.
