Also (though it's not covered in the howto:upload guide linked on the upload page), generally "edits" of previously existing artwork, except those made by the original artist, are not accepted. They tend to subtract quality (such as yours damaging the outline and further compressing the image both in resolution and DPI) and allowing them would cause a flood of people making small tweaks to images and uploading them en-masse.
