IT’S APRIL 10
the 12th anniversary of To Aru Majutsu no Index! my first heavily loved fandom which stayed in my heart constanly for more than six years! guided me through hard times, made me happy about stupid things, made me cry a lot, shown me hope for humanity and of course got me fucked up with all the bizarre stuff mixed in!
I’ve really enjoyed reading the novels, watching the animes, staring for hours at the weird faces of Accelerator in the manga, and playing the Index psp game just to hear the characters screaming. And I’ve never cared so much about a random washing machine like I did for Kanzaki’s one.
so here’s a random thing with random To Aru characters!
those were good the timeys when Railgun S was airing and some fans and me started massive calls to scream at each other in facebook about every.single.photogram.in.the.opening. and then everyone(me too) dropped the anime when the Sister’s arc finished, just like that xD
we always freaked out so much when Kamachi-sensei released a new novel, he does that every three months for To Aru but he managed once to release one novel monthly for like 12 months(???), I still don’t know how he did that!!! many are still convinced he’s totally an alien
and The Announcements,
god,
Dengeki fucked up with us for more than two years, making big announcements like “we are gonna say something REALLY important right this date” and when we got all fired up they will say “We released a new keychain!”
To Aru is really important to me, I hate it a lot, I hate the protagonist, I hate the stupid ecchi everywhere, I hate everytime they ruin the perfectly good heroine by making her suddenly helpless and fragile just so Touma can save her, and I love how the villians learn about their decisions and how to be responsible for them, like carrying out their sins, I love how every character had this unique atmosphere around them even when many of them had similar designs, and, man, there is a real big ton of characters!, I love when these losers got to be heroes for themselves or the people they loved, and then kept being losers, I love how Kamachi made me hate and love all these little girls, and I hate Birdway (go eat shit, you bad witch) I love how all these inhuman, sometimes not even humanoid characters were shown as… just another character, and how these kids helped them to learn and appreciate themselves as ~important~ real quick, I love Beetle #05 okay, hes my husbu, I even felt real love and care for this evil nurse machine, and I hope all of them manage to have a life for themselves and be happy
Gotta love the epic fights and stuff in ToAru too, Kamachi really knew how to use and mix the sci-fi theme with the magic/religious one, my word, the WW3 was the most exciting thing I remember reading when I was in school, it still give me the shivers to thing about the Star of Bethlehem (is that how you spell it?) or all those creepy robots with crazy powers,
and I had started to feel worried about nuns
and I started to appreciate teacher’s job a lot
and Railgun motivated me really really much to work hard and never give up!
and songs and prayers gained a new whole meaning
and bugs don’t feel like gross things anymore!
it is just, magic.
is something you can’t explain
and ToAru explains it ANYWAY, because fuck the rules, gotta explain magic via serious theories, gotta add feelings and hopes to the science and the maths
and oh, man this was not supposed to be this long !!!! o___o
thank you for keeping up with this long rant of mine, if u did
but, man, I hate ecchi,
bye~
