It must be a really good book. I speak from experience here (reading on a table outside a bar while a brawl was going on less than ten feet in front of me).
Making a manga means being beholden to an editor/publisher and also having to meet arbitrary deadlines, so it's understandable if you are already making good money otherwise.
Also, this should totally be a God of War style game.
