I believe it has something to do with this article which was recently published in Akyuu's latest book.

After reading the article, shouldn't she blame Hatate for putting it in the newspaper instead of Akyuu? Or she's done with her and is now getting on Aya who published it in Bunbunmaru.

I can only guess, by reading the article, that it has something to do with her being referred to as the "Beautiful Scarlet Cloth", and also her comment in the article? Basically, I think the article and her comments in the article somehow construe that she is "Marriage-Hunting", since she is always shown carrying around a veil, hence the plethora of marriage proposals?? Maybe???

There's no proper article for Iku in SoPM, so this may reference a hypothetical one Akyuu made that drew the wrong conclusions about her veil.
