To tell the truth, this was one of the reason why I loved Kancolle so much. While there are ranks and all that stuff, in the end almost every Kanmusu is top-tier if you give enough love to them and they are all best. I lied. Some are better than others. Shiratsuyu Class is true Class. .

To play a game where your waifu isn't being ranked based on her rarity, too bad such a concept is lost nowadays. Oh well, I'm usually EX-luck anyway.

Seeing how thus guy is a turbo-nerd virgin, I doubt he'll dump his Normal rare, he'll just bench her.

So long as low-tier characters are capable of REASONABLY getting to the "end" of the game, I say its fine.

So, number of Azur Lane or Frontline girls? Think it may also apply to Arknights folk, but not completely familiar with those units.

In Arknights, pretty much every major event has dozens of guides made for how to clear it with low rarity teams. It usually requires at least one 6☆ carry, but generally speaking any unit can get the job done regardless of rarity if used right in a solid strategy.

Most content in AL can be done with nearly any unit provided that you use your head some. A number of low rarity ships can do QUITE well with a retrofit. Take Leander (azur lane), refitted she can do as good if not better job than Belfast.

Even to this day, lower rarity ships in Azur Lane are viable in nearly all game content, especially with the right gear load outs. And if you're on a budget with oil, they're essential, since they use less.

They just have less flashy skills and don't really get skins.
