"Derdriu Palace, Imperial Year 1189: King Claude and Queen Annette of Almyra are paying a diplomatic visit to sign a new treaty of alliance with King Byleth and Queen Lysithea of Fódlan to cap off their last great victory against Imperial remnants and Those Who Slither in the Dark. That evening, during the festivities, Claude and Annette became enchanted by the adorable young princess of Fódlan, borne of the bond of their dear friends Byleth and Lysithea, and sired at the insistence of Lysithea, who with her lifespan restored had wanted to have children with the man she loves ASAP. For their part, Fódlan’s royalty were shocked to learn that Almyra’s royalty had not yet sired an heir, as Claude and Annette had been too busy establishing their rule and Almyra’s new international school of sorcery.
And so, that night, the royals decided they needed to breed…"
