Illustration is taken from the scene where the Maiden of Versailles (left) of the French forces takes on Princess Carissa of the English forces during World War III. Here, you can see the Maiden wielding the Durandal while Carissa wields a light saber like weapon, derived from the remaining pieces of the Curtana Original that was shattered by Touma back in the English Civil War.

About the work:
Another specific request, this time it is a recolor of an already done piece by another colorist.

Nothing notable here, except that the colors are not multiplied on the original novel illustration, as features its own traced on line work. As such you can't see any of the half-tones from the printed material of the illustration.

The glowing is less pronounced since it is daytime not unlike the Shiage piece, though the purple Overlaying on that one contributed more to the glowing.

Made it somewhat overcast because I can.
