I’ll confess - Lani is a Hawaiian name and Mihirau is Maori! Mihirau is my Aunty’s name and was going to be my name! It’s actually a first name but honestly can be used either way, haha.
I also like to call this group team Portal - SO MUCH ORANGE AND BLUE - it’s totally unintentional but w/e, it worked out.
Lani’s team is highly independent; they were caught Pokemon (save Vaporeon) and she’s been training them thouroughly for 4 years. Floatzel and Wartortle are very competitive while Frillish just likes to float about (although, her constant blank smile tends to keep the others at bay..)
And Vaporeon… will be revealed as the story unfolds!
