u can buy this swords on ebay for 600 bucks. but they are made out of wood, which is actually good, else it would weight around 120pounds...
but i wouldnt spend so much for a wooden cosplay sword...

With this, you're not just paying for the Swords. You are paying for the labor cost, material, and shipping. So the high price is understandable, its quite accurate. If you are big on collecting, it wouldn't be a problem.

For cosplaying... I probably wouldn't get these for that specific purpose.

The front blade (the "Hollow Blade") appears to be made wrong (though probably on purpose). It's supposed to be a "V" shaped cross-section, including the handle, so it effectively just slides into the front of the Main Blade.

But, if this sword is the same as the ebay seller's, then I can understand why it wasn't made that way, seeing as it's made of wood.

Also, $500+ to ship the swords. O_O
