Ep 3 of FLCL Progressive aired yesterday and I knew I just HAD to draw this. Jinyu's version is here .

Also I drew Haruko with her old head design. And this is the one thing that's annoying me when watching this otherwise faithful and well-executed sequel to a long-remembered anime that many thought was unadaptable (and some still do): .... the animation. Haruko's design in Progressive and Alternative does not at all look like her design in the original FLCL. She's drawn less detailed, more mechanical and "normal", her eyes are smaller, her facial features are placed higher on her head now... it just doesn't look like the Haruko I know, to me! So .... take THAT, staff. .............. but I love the show otherwise.
