Though I agree on your second claim (though I've never tried it, too leery of hookups in university, attended zero parties, and wrote too much stuff to have time :D).
I should point out that handjob is very different from (and MUCH weaker than) actual penetration due to the glaringly obvious fact that you can relax most (not all, because that would be Brown Pants) of the surrounding muscles, and if you do that it's really difficult to finish. This is in marked contrast to actual penetration where you amost always have to keep those muscles working to actually thrust.
