I don't know how many people are going to get how clever that truly was, but I want to let you know that I got it and think well of you for making it.
A dip would be much better tho. for the space this selector takes you could have an 8 or 12 switch dip wich would give you 2^8 languages, so njpr231 could make her speak spanish if he's so inclined. You could include dialects too. That aside, those linear selectors fail often. Even if a dip fails, replacement is simple as they arent proprietary like some other switches tend to be.
Unless she's fully analogue/mechanical, then a switch like the one in the picture makes more sense.
