I have no bloody idea what's possible and impossible as far as knitting is concerned, but Ann Reardon of How to Cook That have debunked culinary 'hacks' (note scarequotes) that channels like So Yummy and 5-Minute Crafts posited on their video. In most headcanons (this one included), she's pretty heavily an internet NEET type during most of her free time, so it makes sense she'd be wise to the ways of the internet through sheer exposure.
