Inazuma is almost as rare these days. The last time we saw either of them in the 2koma series, apart from the Imagine Spot of Hibiki and Akigumo trying to imagine what they'd look like adults, was over three years ago. (There was, of course, the separate and much more recent "Adult DesDiv 6" series.)

By comparison, Hibiki and Akatsuki have had regular appearances in the 2komas - Hibiki as Akigumo's sidekick and Akatsuki off-and-on.

That's exactly what I mean, I love this artist and his comics are usually funny but he's really bad when it comes to the variety of characters he uses, it's mostly the same 3 groups being rotated around.

Yeah, Ooi's the most glaring case of plot existence failure. I also miss Kuroshio and Nuinui and Kongou, but Ooi is the one neglected girl that really should get more panel time.

I suspect the issue with Ooi is that she's expecting relationship progress, and Admibro is allergic to that.

I'd rather see Yuuji continue to write characters he/she likes over subpar token arcs for underused characters. Since when does an independent artist owe their readers that?

No one has said that the artist owe us anything, we are simply voicing our opinions. I do agree with your first sentence though, a quality drop from forcing yourself to draw characters you don't want to would also be bad.
