  • D-50C Loto Fan Art from Mobile Suit Gundam

    First and foremost, Marmoset Toolbag 4 is literally a godsend of a software. I don't think that I will be revisiting Blender for rendering anytime soon. Secondly, I ran into differing color issues with my monitors and at this point, if it look good on my screen then so be it. I remember spending a week on texturing this model. I wanted to encapsulate the aesthetic of a mobile suit and apply it onto a lesser known model. So I painstakingly created so many normals and hand made textures, but the results speaks for themselves. Here's my rendition of the D-50C Loto, consisting of just over 50k polys. Disclaimer: I don't profit off of these or redistribute them, it's to practice the process of hard-surface game asset creation from start to finish.
