Why are there a bunch of food cubes? I don’t disapprove, but I’m not sure if it conflicts the purpose of this site
When a picture is comprised by several smaller pictures, artists may post the elements of the larger picture separately. In Danbooru, the original, larger image is called parent post and the smaller picture are called child posts. When for some reason artists post something that is derived from the original post, we put them in parent-child relation like that.
So no, it doesn't conflict with the purpose of Danbooru being an 'art museum'.

The food_focus tag is comprised of over 2700 entries and includes posts dating back to Danbooru's beginnings. Regardless of what you think about this site's purview, posts like these are clearly well-tolerated here as long as they are of sufficient quality.

I agree. It is still art and some of them are so realistic, that I even mistaken them for an actual one.
