For those who haven't played it, the pentagon in the last panel is the player's "skill" set. The top part, which is way beyond maximum here, is courage. Top left is "knowledge" (book-learnin'), bottom left is expression (charisma), top right is diligence, and bottom right, which is at level 0, is understanding (as in sympathizing with or understanding the feelings of others).

Yep. After he finds you stalking him and he threatens to beat you up. Instead of running away, you decide to beat him up for threatening you.
