It's the best thing you've ever seen!
Something I made to celebrate reaching 64k followers here on pixiv. When I think about that number I can only think about the Ultra-64, the N64. So let's dive into the third dimension!
It's been a while since I reached this milestone so by now that number may be a bit higher, a "nice" number I may say, or maybe more by the time you're reading this xD. Anyways, I don't know where you all are coming from but I'm really grateful so many people from all over the world like what I do! I've been hanging around here since 2009/2010 so a few accounts may be dead but this number it's still very high even accounting for that, at least for me a nobody xD
Fun facts:
-To achieve the crt effect on the screen I connected an actual CRT tv to my pc which I then used to show those images and then took photos of the screen. I matched the perspective afterwards on photoshop.
-The wireframe bear I drew it myself aided by some reference I generated.
-The images that appear on the 4th and 5th pic I didn't make them, I asked an AI model to generate those. After I finished coloring this illustration I found about this dall-e2 page so I was toying around to see what it would come up with. I included them because I thought they make for a nice concept, the same way a screen shows you an image created by technology, by a machine and not the real thing, an "AI" picture is just the same, another illussion created by a machine, a machine learning model. In the end everything is just an illusion, the same way the tv showed the people a distorted and often manipulated view of the world.
