I doubt that very much. They're probably from all the koopa (yes, they're obviously a race of turtles, so don't think I'm just saying this to sound silly) pussy he might be getting every now and then. And besides, he's the king of their race and has his own castle with minions. An unlikable one at that, but he gets shit done by force.
