I am stupid. Anyone know why the source image is higher quality or is that just me?
What were the exact steps you took when you uploaded this? Did you paste the listed source URL to the text box on the Upload page, or did you do something different?
By the way, you can ask for image samples to be replaced with the full size in topic #16765.

Okay, so here’s what I think happened.
The URL you pasted isn’t the actual image URL. Instead, it redirects to it. You can see this for yourself if you click the link then look at the URL afterwards. Danbooru’s uploader probably doesn’t support that website, so it just grabs whatever it can (in this case, an image sample). If you had recognized the differences in the URLs and used the correct one, then the full size would’ve been uploaded.
