The Slayers crossover always struck me as weird, though IMO Conan's the weirdest crossover as of now. Persona is a surprise but far from strange compared to the Samurai Showdown or Sakura Wars crossovers.
In regards to "weird collab", I'd say it depends on how you define "weird"; personally, iM@S collab is definitely one of the weirder one. SideM even make fun of it:
