One of Enma Ai's companions in Hell Girl, she assists Ai in her cases. She appears as a traditionally dressed young woman with long black hair dressed in a kimono, with brown eyes and red lipstick. She was a geisha who became a youkai after being betrayed and murdered.
She is based on the youkai of the same name from Japanese mythology.
