A supervillain from the DC Comics, most frequently featured in Batman comics, where he'd clash with the titular character. He debuted in the Knightfall storyline of the Batman comics.
He gains superstrength from the (thankfully fictional) drug "Venom", which he'd inject from a special apparatus on his back. He is also best known for injuring Batman's back with a backbreaker and putting the Caped Crusader out of commission during the events of Knightfall.
