A character or entity is separated in two physical halves. Vertically down the middle from head to groin or around the waist horizontally/diagonally.

Types of divisions

• Coronal plane cutting (Split between front and back)
• Transverse plane cutting (Split between top and bottom)
• Sagittal plane cutting (Split between left and right)
