It tells the story of Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher diagnosed with cancer, who, along with his former student Jesse Pinkman, turns to a life of crime, producing and selling crystal meth to secure his family's financial future before he dies.
In 2020, the show has gained memetic status, primarily due to the "Breaking Good" shitposting video made by Youtuber Jixaw. Various aspects of the show has since intergreated into wider meme culture and spawned several memes in the process.
