Dark Souls is the first game of the Dark Souls trilogy. Dark Souls is the spiritual successor to Demon's Souls and the second installment in the series.
The game was released in 2011 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. In 2012, Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition was released for PC, which was later ported to consoles.
