American new wave band formed in 1973. Their classic line-up consisted of Mark Mothersbaugh, Gerald Casale, Alan Myers, Bob Mothersbaugh (nicknamed Bob1), and Bob Casale (nicknamed Bob2). Most recognizable for the unique costume they wear while performing, consisting of a yellow hazmat suit with letters DEVO on the chest and a red tiered hat known as an “energy dome.”
