One Piece character. First introduced as one of the Shichibukai and later become the de-facto co-leader of Cross Guild along with Crocodile.
He is known as the greatest swordsman in the world for his immense mastery of swordsmanship and Haki. As such, he served as the final obstacle for Roronoa Zoro of the Straw Hat Pirates for the title.
After effortlessly defeated Zoro during their first encounter, Mihawk became impressed by Zoro's tenacity and spares him so that he could become stronger. Later on, during the timeskip, Mihawk hosted Zoro along with Perona on his home island, and would later train him in various techniques, including the usage of Haki.
