The Panzerkampfwagen E-75 was one of the tanks in the German Entwicklung ("development") series, a World War II engineering project aimed at simplifying and standardizing all German armored fighting vehicles to streamline production. The E-75 would have been the standard heavy tank in this series, replacing existing heavy tanks like the Tiger B. The effort came too late in the war to be useful, and the E-series tanks never saw production, but the E-75 found new life - as it were - as a popular heavy tank in the online multiplayer battle game World of Tanks.
