The mysterious flagship monster of Monster Hunter 4, responsible for the Frenzy Virus that drives its plot. Resembles a black-scaleddragon with arm-like wings and with horns that cover its eyes. As such, it is normally blind, instead dispersing its scales to sense its surroundings.
Late into the game, it is revealed that Gore Magala is the juvenile form of an Elder Dragon, Shagaru Magala. Monster Hunter 4 G would also reveal the Chaotic Gore Magala, a variant that’s partially-molted.
