Someone has wrecked the Hakurei Shrine, an important gateway between Gensokyo, Jigoku (World of Hell) and Makai (World of Demons). Its miko, Hakurei Reimu, chooses between entering Makai and Jigoku to find out who destroyed her shrine, leading her either to an angel of death or a jealous spirit.
