A musical instrument that has a piano-style keyboard but is not itself a piano. May be confused with a digital piano, which has more keys (88 instead of 61 or less). To distinguish a digital piano from a keyboard, look at the first three white keys. In the case of a keyboard, there is a black key between the second and third white keys. This also applies when the keyboard has 76 keys instead of 61.
