The protagonist of the game Hamefura takes place in. Despite being constanly mistreated and belittled by the cruel and arrogant Katarina Claes, she always successfully conquers the favor of one of the love interests, and at the end of each route Katarina always suffers a gruesome fate.
However, when the reincarnated Katarina takes over, she instead befriends Maria and values her, both due to the goodness in her heart and a fear that crossing Maria will inevitalby result in her death or exile - all the while not realizing that her fate has been plenty changed already.
