A term generally used to refer to specific Western Minecraft video content on platforms such as YouTube and Twitch, especially those surrounding survival multiplayer servers (SMPs) and the communities that develop from them. Some creators stream themselves acting out elaborate LARPs in SMPs, which inspire artists to draw fanart of the characters they play. The term is applied more on a cultural level than on a literal level - YouTubers that play Minecraft once often aren't considered to fall into this category as they do not have wider connections to the scene as a whole, which is largely collaborative and overlaps often.
