An American rock band formed in Franklin, Tennessee, in 2004.
The band's current lineup, since 2017, consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, lead guitarist Taylor York, and drummer Zac Farro. Williams and Farro are founding members, with York, a high school friend, joining in 2007. Hayley Williams has been the only constant member throughout the band's history, which has seen several lineup changes.
The band has released six studio albums, including "All We Know Is Falling" (2005), "Riot!" (2007), "Brand New Eyes" (2009), "Paramore" (2013), "After Laughter" (2017), and "This Is Why" (2023). Their album "Paramore" gave them their first number one album on the US Billboard 200. Notable singles include "Misery Business," "The Only Exception," "Still Into You," and "Ain't It Fun." "Ain't It Fun" earned Williams and York a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song, marking the band's first Grammy win.
