The second title in the Quake FPS video game series. Released in 1997 on the PC and later a Playstation 1 and Nintendo 64 port in 1999.

In Quake 2, the player is a Space Marine who is part of a human expedition force against a race of hostile alien cyborgs called the Strogg.
