A heavily armored assault MS developed by Anaheim Electronics. Despite its resemblance to the ZZ Gundam, the two were not related, with the S Gundam being more oriented towards use by conventional pilots, being furnished with INCOMs for the quasi-psycommu system and an auxiliary AI, ALICE, to help with controlling the behemoth. The S in its name stands for "Superior".
