A character from Umineko no Naku Koro Ni. Willard H. Wright is a detective and a former member of the SSVD, but quit due to the SSVD's brutality. In Requiem of the golden witch, he is called in by Bernkastel to solve a mystery, and teams up with Lion Ushiromiya as his partner.
He is named after American detective novelist Willard Wright, also known as S.S. Van Dine. He also owns a cat named Diana.
