It is divided into 12 sections for each sign of the Zodiac, and may also have the corresponding dates written around the outside edge or innermost area, often in Roman numerals, similar to a dial.
In rarer cases, a wheel diagram may also be used for the Chinese Zodiac, listing years for each sign within the segments.
