The best-known of Ukiyo-e master Hokusai's "36 Views of Mt. Fuji," this piece depicts a large wave cresting over fishing skiffs in a bay near Kanagawa, with Fuji itself dwarfed by the wall of water and offered little contrast from the roiled skies above.
