A one-piece garment worn on the torso and that hangs down over the legs. It consists of a bodice (the top part) attached to a skirt (the bottom).
Not to be confused with skirt. A dress is a single piece of clothing, while a skirt is a separate piece of clothing. Dresses should not be tagged with skirt.
