string bikini

A [[bikini]] (two-piece swimsuit) whose upper [[bra]] component usually comprises [[breast]] coverings connected by strings. Often triangular in shape, these coverings may vary widely in size and may either be fixed or threaded around the strings to allow adjustable width (and therefore exposure). Also, the bottom brief component usually consists of two triangular shaped pieces connected at the sides by thin "strings" wrapping around the waist. The "strings" can be continuous or [[side-tie_bikini|tied]]. The rear piece may be only a "string" in the case of some [[thong_bikini|thong bikinis]].¶

Should not be confused with [[micro bikini]] or [[thong bikini]], though they can also be string bikinis.¶
